Come join in the fun for the Weekend of just for the Day!

Friday:

Dinner at 7:00 PM– River Pavilion – Potluck!

Bonfire – After Dinner

 

Saturday:

Breakfast – TBD friday night  – Potluck!

Canoe Trip – 10:00 AM – Pre Register by Sept. 24th!

Lunch on your own!

1st UMC Cooking Challenge! Who is the best Chef?

Theme for Cooking Challenge is  “Some Like it Hot!”

-2:00 PM – Pre Register by Sept. 24th

Most Decorative Camp Spot Contest! – 4:00 PM

Dinner – 5:30 PM – River Pavilion – Potluck!

Evening Worship at Lower Vesper’s – After Dinner

Bonfire with S’mores and Pies! – After Vesper’s at Camping Area!

 

Sunday:

Breakfast – 10:00 AM – Potluck!

Morning Worship at 11:00 AM

1st UMC Cooking Challenge!

Theme: “Some Like It Hot!”

(Doesn’t mean it has to be spicy!)

Cost to enter: $20 per team

Pre-register and pay by Sept. 24th

Rules:

  • Can be teams of 2 or done individually!

  • Will be given 3 mystery ingredients.

  • All mystery ingredients must be used in dish presented to judges.

  • Will have a time limit to prepare food. All food has to be on designated table by end of time.

  • Can make one dish or multiple dishes with ingredients.

  • Can use anything at cooking station (camping spot).

  • Open to anyone! You don’t have to camp to compete!

  • Only food provided is 3 mystery ingredients

  • You bring the rest of what you need to complete your dish(s).

  • Have to Prepare 4 serving for 3 judges and host of the show!

  • Judges will be able to watch preparation!

  • Judges will determine winner by taste, presentation, use of mystery ingredients and safety and sanitation used in cooking.

  • Competition is based on “Chopped” from the Food Network. But you want to be selected as the winner not Chopped!
